St Peter Port Stocking by Anne Hanson

This handsome stocking captures the magic of Christmas Past, illustrated by a mix of traditional seaman’s Gansey textures. From the top of its cuff to the tip of its toe, it will delight the knitter with ever-changing knit/purl patterns and lush cable details. While the overall effect is deliciously complex, the stitchwork is quite simple in a straightforward sock construction with both written and charted instructions. This project will fill that need for a final, festive quick knit to sit back and enjoy while getting your holiday spirit on.
