Our Polwarth wool is sourced from flocks in the Falklands that are raised with a focus on soft, wearable wool. It has the velvet feel of merino with a longer staple length and a bit of sheen; this medium-fine grade wool is springy, offering durability and excellent stitch definition. Making a lace baby blanket for my niece. The yarn is soft but with great structure and I don't think it will pill. A joy to work with lovely to feel.
I am a few inches into the Miami Cuban Scarf and I LOVE my white BNK Polwarth. It's light and soft and is working up beautifully in the cable pattern. This scarf will be drapey and soft and cuddly without being TOO warm, which is good since I live in a moderate climate. Very happy.
