2024 Heartland Yarn Adventure!

Grab a friend and start planning your summer road trip to the charming yarn shops in the Heartland!

Remember, it's not about hitting all 84 shops. It's about choosing a region for a fun adventure and enjoying the journey.

Explore anywhere from northern Michigan to Northern Kentucky, mid Indiana, and all across Ohio. You'll come away with new yarn, fresh inspiration and wonderful new friends!

What to Expect 

1. PRIZES

At the end of the 10-day event, we'll draw winners from all participants. No purchase is necessary to enter the drawing, and you get an additional entry for each shop you visit. Prizes include kits, yarn, tools, and more...

Exclusive to Bare Naked Wools! We’re giving away free entries to our Rhinebeck Knit-Along! 🧶✨ Five lucky winners will join our sweater KAL with Anne Hanson, receive a FREE sweater pattern, and meet the Bare Naked Knitters flock!

2. DEALS
Many yarn shops will offer great deals on yarn and tools and kits and gifts and ... well, you get the idea. Each shop will publicize  their plans as the event draws closer, so be sure to follow all your favorite shops as well as our event's Facebook and Instagram pages.

We’re bringing a bundle of in-store surprises: special kits, giveaways, free patterns, exclusive promotions, and a delightful guide featuring gifts from our local NW Canton area businesses – including coffee shops, ice cream parlors, apothecaries, and more! 3. GIVEAWAYS

Each shop is different, so they'll all have their own unique way to show you how much they appreciate your business. 

We know it's not about the giveaways and freebies and treats. But they're so nice to get, aren't they?? And they come from love.

How it works!

1. You can get your HYA passport right here, which includes a stylish Enamel HYA Pin and a paper passport. If you’re traveling from afar, we can ship it directly to you, or you can purchase it online and pick it up when you visit our shop. Either way, we recommend getting your passport ahead of time.

2. With your passport in hand, you can start your adventure by visiting all the shops on the tour. Collect stamps and goodies from each one – every shop has something unique to offer!

3. The HYA begins Saturday July 26th until Sunday August 4th.
