Higan Fingerless Mitts
knitting pattern
Choose options
These pretty lacy mitts in two sizes (S/M, M/L) make use of a motif inspired by weeping cherry trees in bloom. Trailing branches of buds and new blossoms wind their way along one side of the asymmetrical design, while crisp twisted rib ensures a nice fit around the thumb gusset area. The highly embossed stitchwork makes for strong depth and stability, even in the silkiest of yarns. The somewhat complex pattern is made easier by working in the round, on the right side of the fabric. Gorgeous in a smooth luxury blend, this design translates nicely for cool weather in a rustic wool blend as well.
