This top-down unisex sock in four sizes (XS/S/M/L) has a deeply embossed knit/purl pattern that extends down the leg and over the top of the foot for cozy warmth with jeans and boots. The slip-stitch, flap heel offers an excellent fit with a little extra cushioning. With such an easy-to-work and entertaining motif, these socks make a great take along project for travel or spectator sports.

Suggested Yarns: 

Bare Naked Wools Better Breakfast Fingering,  Stone Soup Fingering, Modern Deco Sport, Finn Dandy 3-ply Sport, or any springy sock yarn that knits to pattern gauge. Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size. 

Finished Size: 
6(7.5, 9, 10.5) inches in foot circumference, to fit feet up to 7(8.5, 10, 11.5) inches around

Yarn Requirements: 

350(400, 450, 500) yds  

Gauge: 

32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette  

Needles:

DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
