A triangle shawl in one size featuring an array of swirling snowflake and pine motifs. Shawl is worked from neck to hem edge, and has an applied (knitted on) lace edging at the outer border. Recommended for handpainted yarns with subtle color variations.

Suggested Yarns:
Cormo Lace, Yak + Silk Lace, Shetlandia Fingering, Jacob Fingering, Kent Lace, Fresh Lace,or any laceweight yarn which has approximately 250 yards per ounce. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
Finished Size:
Width across top edge (blocked) = 80 inches
Length at center back (blocked) = 40 inches
Yarn Requirements:
1400 yards (1250mts) of laceweight yarn that has 250 yards per ounce
Gauge:
30 sts and 44 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch worked back and forth in rows, unblocked
Needles:
size 2.5US (3.00 mm) 24- and 36-inch circular needles, or size to obtain correct gauge
size 2US (2.75 mm) 32” circular needle for edging
