The holiday knitting frenzy is over, and you've knitted something special for everyone—except you. Well, now it’s your turn! Join the “Because I Can” Knit-Along (KAL)—because, well, you can! And knit like nobody’s watching! Kick off 2025 by casting on projects that are all about YOU.

What’s on your knitting wish list this year? A snug sweater? A cozy shawl? Dreamy socks? Whatever it is, this is your chance to put yourself first. Key Dates

START DATE: Cast on no earlier than Saturday, January 4th, 2025
END DATE: Finish by Wednesday, March 8th, 2025

How to Participate & Win:

• Wait until the start date to cast on.
• Use either a Knitspot design or Bare Naked Wools yarn.

We’re keeping it light and Grinchy. To participate, simply use an Anne Hanson pattern or Bare Naked Wools yarn. You’re welcome to use both, but it’s not required.

Not ready to start something new? No problem! Bring your WIPs to the Zoom meetups. While prizes are reserved for fresh cast-ons, everyone’s welcome to join in for the fun and camaraderie.

Zoom Meetups:

• Wednesdays at 6 PM EST
• Saturdays at 12:30 PM EST
  The first Zoom session kicks off on Saturday, January 4th, 2025—join as often as you like!

Prizes & Claims:
Winners will be announced after the KAL ends.
Winners must contact jeeves@knitspot.com within 30 days to claim their prize.

Emails & Updates:
Participants will receive the Zoom link, free pattern code, and all other details via email the week of the start date.
