A top-down sock in four sizes, with a robust knit/purl block-work pattern leading down the leg and over the top of the foot. Motif is reversible for toe-up construction.
Suggested Yarns:
Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, or any plump, springy sock yarn with 350-400 yards per 4 ounces
Substituting needles and/or yarn may result in an overall variation in size.
Finished Size:
6(7.5, 9, 10.5) inches in circumference, to fit feet up to 7(8.5, 10, 11.5) inches around.
Yarn Requirements:
350(400, 450, 500) yds
Gauge:
32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette
Needles:
DPNs size US1 (2.25mm), or size to obtain correct gauge.
