Softly-sculpted overlapping curves create warm depth in this criss-cross scarf and wristlet set. Worked in a fuzzy yarn that produces a halo, this set creates a lovely frame for the face and a beautiful change in texture to fill the lapels of a dress coat. The scarf can be knit in two sizes (S, T); wristlets are one size fits all.  
  
Suggested Yarns: Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Modern Deco Sport, Finn Dandy 3-ply Sport, Chebris Sport, or any soft, DK/sport yarn with 180-225 yards per 2 ounces.
  
Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size.  
  
Finished Size: 
scarf: 7 inches wide at hems; 5 inches at back neck and 32(36) inches in length (blocked)
wristlets: 5.5 inches in circumference at wrist to fit hands measuring up to 8 inches around 

Yarn Requirements: 
scarf: 120(140) yards
wristlets: 90 yards 

Gauge: 
scarf: 22 sts and 28 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on larger needles
wristlets: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4 inches in stockinette on smaller needles (knit flat)

Needles: scarf: size 6US(4.0 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
wristlets: DPNs size 5US(3.75 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge
