This lightweight crescent scarf or shawl in three sizes (Petite/Medium/Tall), features a richly embossed leaf motif that circles the hem in dramatic scallops. The motif creates a shadow effect which can be further enhanced by using a yarn with some sheen or luster fiber content. Despite its size and intricate appearance, the stitch pattern is not at all tricky to work, with wrong side rows in knit and purl and lends itself nicely to adding beaded accents if desired. The garter stitch body is shaped with short rows to create an elegant sweeping curve, easy to wear and keep in place.
