This richly textured stocking is a festive riot of ribbony swirls from cuff to toe! Knit from the top down, its engaging Aran cable patterns change direction constantly as the shape narrows to the heel, while staying within the theme. It's a great way to use that special, single skein of heritage wool yarn. While the overall effect is deliciously complex, the stitchwork is entirely made up of 2 x 2 cable crosses, placed within a straightforward sock construction; the instructions are both written and charted. This stocking makes a great gift and is a festive, quick knit to sit back and enjoy while getting your holiday spirit on.
