A Faroese shawl in one size featuring an array of lace patterns evoking the magical textures and colorful highlights of the raven’s cloak. Shawl is worked top-down, with shaping at the shoulders, incorporated front edging, and an applied (knitted on) lace edging at the outer border.
Suggested Yarns:
Fresh Lace, Yak + Silk Lace, Cormo Lace, Kent Lace, or any laceweight yarn which has approximately 200-220 yards per ounce. Recommended for handpainted yarns with subtle color variations.

Length at center back (blocked) = 29 inches
Width across top edge (blocked) = 78 inches
Total circumference at hem (blocked) = 104 inches

Gauge:
25 sts and 36 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch (unblocked)
Needles:
