A top-down sock in one size, composed of ornate, sculpted stitches fit for the Queen Bee. Patterns extend down the back of the heel and over the top of the foot.
May be resized by substituting needles and/or yarn. Not reversible for toe-up construction.
Fun Fact: The Ohio city of Marietta is named after this queen!

Suggested Yarns:
Modern Deco Lace, Better Breakfast Fingering, Stone Soup Fingering, Kent Lace or any springy, high-twist sock yarn. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, and yardage requirement.
Finished Size:
8 inches in circumference, to fit feet up to 9.5 inches around.
Leg height as shown is 8 inches from floor.
Note: a change in yarn weight or needle size will cause a variation in size of sock.
Yarn Requirements:
350 yds (310mts) of sock yarn which has 450 yds or more per 4 ounces
Gauge:
32 sts and 48 rows = 4” in stockinette
Needles:
DPNs size US1 (2.25 mm), or size to obtain correct gauge
