Pear and Trellis Scarf
knitting pattern

Solid pear motifs appear suspended along the open trelliswork of this sheer scarf. The scalloped hems and meandering path of the openwork are the result of the horizontal expansion and contraction of the stitch pattern. This is a great on-the-go project, with lace knitting on right-side rows only and “rest” rows entirely in purl. Use of a different weight yarn and/or needles will produce a variation in overall size.
