Polkadotty Kit

This kit includes everything you need to knit either the Polkadotty Half Hap (a triangular shawl) or the Polkadotty Square Hap, both in sport-weight yarn and natural shades.

What’s in the Kit?

Each kit contains both the pattern and yarn, available in two sizes (select from the dropdown menu):

• Polkadotty Half Hap Kit: (2) 2-oz skeins + (1) 4-oz skein + digital PDF pattern for the triangle version

• Polkadotty Square Hap Kit: (4) 4-oz skeins + digital PDF pattern for the square version

Important: Kits come in set colorways and include enough yardage for the chosen size. Once you purchase the kit, you'll automatically be redirected to a download link where you can access the PDF pattern for your chosen option.

Finished Measurements (Blocked)

• Half Hap: ~75" top edge x 32" center back

• Square Hap: ~40" x 40"

Yarn Requirements

• Triangle: 750 yards total

• Square: 1350 yards total

Gauge & Needles

• Gauge: 20 sts & 42 rows = 4" in garter stitch (washed & air-dried)

• Needles: US 6 (4.0 mm) or size to obtain gauge; DPNs recommended for the starting section

Each kit features Shetlandia Sport in the following natural shades:

Polkadotty Half Hap Kit

• Color A (MC): White – 1 skein (4 oz)

• Color B (CC): Emsket – 1 skein (2 oz)

• Color C (CC): Moorit/White Marls – 1 skein (2 oz)

Polkadotty Square Hap Kit

• Color A (MC): White – 2 skeins (4 oz each)

• Color B (CC): Emsket – 1 skein (4 oz)

Both versions follow the same color progression: Color A → Color B → Color C
