This pretty cardigan in 8 sizes (S to L and 1X to 5X), features twining cables in the front lapels, lower sleeves, and back, paired with a background of woven openwork. Cabled lapels extend to the center back neck for a sophisticated finish. Open-front styling (with optional button closure) and a strong vertical pattern contribute to a graceful, forgiving silhouette, flattering for any figure type.

Finn Dandy 3- Ply Sport, Modern Deco Sport, Shetlandia Sport, or any sport weight/heavy fingering yarn that knits to pattern gauge. Substituting yarn and/or needles may result in an overall variation in size, drape, or yardage requirement. 

Finished Size:
36.5(42.25, 47.5, 53.5, 58.5, 64.5, 69.75, 75.5) inches / 92.5(107.5, 120.5, 136, 148.5, 164, 177, 192) cm in chest circumference (buttoned), to be worn with 2 to 6 inches / 5 to 15 cm of ease

Yarn Requirements:
1430(1655, 1865, 2100, 2315, 2565, 2805, 3060) yards / 1310(1510, 1705, 1920, 2115, 2345, 2565, 2795) meters

Buttons:

7 buttons that are .625 inch / 1.5 cm in diameter

Gauge:
22 sts and 33 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette on larger needle (washed and air-dried)
23 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in lace pattern on larger needle (washed and air-dried)

Needles:
size 5US (3.75 mm) needle (or size to obtain correct gauge)
size 3US (3.25 mm) needle for sleeve and hem ribbing (or .5 mm smaller than gauge needle)
