Deliciously thick and warm, these mittens in three sizes (S/M/L) are a must-have for outdoor winter adventures. Seed stitch elements combine with simple cable crosses in a panel that stretches from cuff to tip. A deep seed stitch cuff complements the cable texture and keeps snow from creeping in. May be worked with a single or double cuff (instructions for both included). Modeled with the matching Seedbox Cap.

Finished Size: 
6.5(7.5, 8.5) inches in hand circumference (washed and air-dried, unstretched), to fit hands measuring up to 7(8, 9) inches around palm (excluding thumb)
Note: sizing may be adjusted by using needles one size up (looser fit) or down (tighter fit)

Yarn Requirements: 
175(200, 265) yards

Gauge: 
20 sts and 45 rows = 4 inches in seed stitch on smaller needles (knit flat, washed, and air-dried)
22 sts and 34 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch on larger needles (in the round, washed, and blocked)

Needles: 
DPNs size 3US (3.25 mm) for cuff (or size to obtain correct gauge) 
DPNs size 4US (3.5 mm) for mitten body (or .25 mm larger than gauge needle)
cable needle several sizes smaller than body needle
Note: mittens may be worked on DPNs, two circular needles or using magic loop method, as desired
