Soft Outlines

This soft, boxy pullover in 12 sizes (XXS to L) and [1X to 7X] has a relaxed, drop-shoulder fit that provides swathes of warmth while remaining light and airy. The body is knit in soothing stockinette trimmed with wide, flat ribbing, which is featured in the contrasting, tone-on-tone sleeves. With two neckline options—a dramatic V or cozy crew—and two body lengths included, it can be knit to virtually any desired length. Worked from hem to neck, in flat pieces, and seamed afterward for portability and a stable fit.

Gauge:
21 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in stockinette stitch on larger needle (washed and air-dried)
23 sts and 32 rows = 4 inches / 10 cm in sleeve rib stitch on larger needle (washed and air-dried)

Needles:
size 6US (4.0 mm) needles (or size to obtain correct gauge)
size 4US (3.5 mm) circular needles for hems and neck finish (or .5 mm smaller than gauge needle)
